Overview of Role
H&M Distribution Limited are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced HGV Class 2 (C) Driver to join their team. As one of the UK’s leading suppliers of distribution services, they are expanding their Newton-le-Willows depot and offering full-time permanent positions with competitive pay, bonuses, incentives, and overtime opportunities.
The role involves daily multi-drop deliveries within the WN and WA postcode areas, covering the pallet network delivery zones. You will liaise daily with the Transport Manager and Transport Team to ensure smooth delivery and collection operations.
This position supports work-life balance with Monday–Friday shifts and staggered start/finish times. A valid HGV licence, CPC, and solid understanding of drivers’ hours and tachograph regulations are required.

Responsibilities
- Ensure all safety and customer site rules are adhered to
- Drive defensively and fuel-efficiently at all times
- Ensure all delivery/collection notes and paperwork are correct
- Provide accurate paperwork for job debriefing
- Comply with all transport legislation including drivers’ hours and vehicle defect reporting
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Carry out any reasonable request from the Transport Management Team
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and wear provided uniform/PPE
Requirements
- Current and valid HGV Licence
- At least 6 months experience driving on UK roads
- Valid Drivers CPC card
- Understanding of drivers’ hours regulations and tachographs
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Excellent customer service skills
Salary
£13.09 per hour up to 45 hours, with time and a half paid over 45 hours.
